Southbank Centre’s popular summer food & drink pop-ups are back on the Queen’s Walk from 24 April, offering an exciting selection of food and drink right by the Thames. With its unbeatable lineup, Southbank Centre continues to be the ultimate destination for pop-up dining in Central London. As the days grow longer and the evenings stretch into warm, sunny nights, it’s clear: summer in London is here.
Returning after last year’s sellout summer is the exclusive Truffle Burger pop-up, making the standout ingredient, tasty truffle, the star of the show, with delicious burgers and fries on offer. Truffle Burger will be joined by friends, Frank!, the Americana style hotdog brand, and Bar Under the Bridge, which will be serving up drinks from Gipsy Hill Brewery. These staples under Hungerford Bridge will also be joined by a rotating pop-up space, Truffle Burger and Friends, featuring international brands, including Charles Pan-Fried Chicken, Homer Lobster, Forsyth Fire Escape, Nixta Taqueria, Bodega Truck and Utopia Bagels.
Southbank Centre staple Jimmy’s BBQ Club is back in its hotspot opposite the Skate Park, on one of the busiest stretches of the South Bank. Returning with its ultimate six-course tasting menu, immersive cooking and riverfront bar and grill. Not only does Jimmy’s offer excellent al fresco dining made from seasonal ingredients, but their brand-new drinks menu means this will be the buzziest spot all night long.
The Thirsty Farrier returns with its viral horsebox set-up with the best view in London, serving classic cocktails with a fresh twist, including their delicious espresso martinis, spicy margaritas and fruity mojitos. The Thirsty Farrier will also be hosting relaxed ‘sunset sessions’ in their cocktail garden beside the Thames – pairing chilled music with freshly made cocktails on selected dates throughout the summer.
For those with a sweet tooth, two of London’s favourite dessert spots are back on the South Bank: SNOG Frozen Yogurt and the viral favourite Chocofruit. This summer, Chocofruit returns with a refreshed tropical set-up, serving their signature chocolate-covered strawberries, and seasonal specials like strawberries and cream. SNOG also returns in its signature pink, serving Insta-ready fro-yo in flavours like Hazelnut Praline Chocolate and Mango Passionfruit. Grab a pot and enjoy the view of the Thames and Big Ben from their riverside seating.
In its staple spot overlooking the iconic London Eye, Between the Bridges is back for another busy summer season, serving up a variety of street food and selection of drinks, as well as an eclectic programme of free and ticketed events that you won’t see anywhere else. This year, their delicious street food selection is curated by Time Out food and drink editor Leonie Cooper, and is known as Time Out Eat Street.
Fan favourite, the Queen Elizabeth Hall Roof Garden, is back for another year, with the sun-drenched terrace often packed out in summer months – a lush oasis with panoramic views over the Thames, Big Ben and the London Eye. Serviced with a popular Bar & Kitchen, serving summertime drinks alongside a great range of fresh seasonal food. This space is also available to hire for summer parties setting your event apart with iconic rooftop views.
The newly refurbished and hot-off-the-press bar, Seventy5th Balcony Bar, located on the fifth floor of the Royal Festival Hall, is also the perfect sunspot to enjoy food and drinks this summer, serving fantastic food all day accompanied with an extensive menu of cocktails, mocktails and wine.

Serving up a festival of sizzling street food every weekend down at Southbank Centre Square, with food from over 30 international traders every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and bank holidays too.
